Q&A Forum Ministry Serving Form

“And Paul went in, as was his custom, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned (dialegomai; dialogue) with them from the Scriptures, explaining and proving that it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise from the dead, and saying, “This Jesus, whom I proclaim to you, is the Christ.”
Acts 17:2-3

Mission: to engage people with God’s Word

Description: We aim to provide a space where people can ask questions about Christianity. This is particularly aimed for those who are skeptics, seekers, and those who have questions of the Christian faith. This will also be helpful for Christians to attend because we hope it’ll equip Christians to know how to engage with non-Christians both in truth and grace.

  • Monthly Q&A Meetings (11:30am-1pm at the Well)

  • Monthly Preparation & Feedback Meeting (1-2 weeks prior to Monthly Q&A Meetings)

Markers of an ideal candidate: administrative, creative, strategic, warm & welcoming, enjoys serving in the background

Requirements: Completed membership; adult baptized/confirmed

Responsibility:

  • Praying for the ministry

  • Being the next step for those who want to get plugged into our church (e.g., directing them towards pastors, welcoming, CGs)

  • Developing and streamlining the best method for questions to be asked (e.g., text submission, open mic forum, email)

  • Providing feedback in developing the efficacy and sustainability of Q&A ministry

  • Administrative duties (i.e., connecting with communication team, such as, updating the website, bulletin, newsletter, Sunday worship announcements).
